Victoria Pendleton's Golden Postbox

Yesterday we went in search of Victoria Pendleton's Golden Postbox.

Victoria Pendleton who picked up a gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics by winning the Women's Keirin final in the velodrome was born at Stotfold which is just a few miles down the road from where we live and also where Wayne's business is based. Royal Mail are changing the colour of postboxes from red to gold in each gold medal winner’s home town and so a Stotfold postbox has been painted gold in Victoria's honour.

We found the postbox in Hitchin Road and took a couple of photos on the phone.
