This layout of my daughter was inspired by a layout by US Scapbooker Ashley Horton but turned out quite different to the original.
My base was a sheet of navy patterned paper which was matted on a sheet of red patterned paper.
The cut file was by Paige Evans and I filled the open spaces with various scraps of red paper.
Before sticking the cut file onto the layout I flipped it over and drew round the outline with a pencil onto the right hand half the layout. The pencil outline was then stitched using some red embroidery thread.
My 6x4 photograph was matted onto white cardstock and stuck onto the layout and the layout was finished off with sequins, and die cuts.

Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time
I used Kraft cardstock for the background and patterned papers from a 6"x 6" paper pack which came free with a magazine.
The 'Christmas Tree' was created using a shape cut on the CraftRobo which was embelished with paper, sequins and wood veneer stars. A star shaped wooden button was placed at the top of the tree.
The tile was created with the word 'Christmas' cut on the CraftRobo and letter stickers.
The top left corner was embellished with paper flags, a journal sticker and more wood veneer stars and letter stickers.

Scrapology - February Layout Challenge
This month on Scrapology the team has taken inspiration from a layout by Australian Scrapbooker Melinda Spinks.
Melinda's layout incorporated lots of squares so this months challenge is to creating a layout using either Melinda's layout or Lynn's sketch as inspiration and some squares.
For my layout I used a photo taken in our village during the winter a few years ago.
I used 12" x 12" white Bazzill cardstock as my base and patterned paper from LOTS of BasicGrey's older winter/festive themed paper collections - Blitzen, Figgy Pudding, Dasher, Eskimo Kisses .....
Branches were cut on the Craft Robo using a shape from the Silhouette Studio and these were attached to the layout with 3D foam to add some dimension. Layered snowflakes from K&Co, crystals, a wooden bird and letters stickers finished off the layout. To add some sparkle the whole layout (apart from the photo) was sprayed with Crafter's Companion Spray & Sparkle Glitter Varnish.
Here is Melinda's original layout .....
..... and Lynn's sketch.

Pensthorpe
Whenever we have days out I take loads of photos, get a few printed and then they just sit in a folder. I really wanted to put this right and use some of the many photos I've taken at Pensthorpe in Norfolk over the years and took inspiration for my layout from a multi-photo layout by Pam Callaghan from the Ideas for Scrapbookers blog.
I was able to include 7 photos in the layout by cutting them into circles and matting them on larger cardstock circles. I also used various patterned papers. I'm not sure but I think most of the papers are from Echo Park. The sun, cloud and title were all cut on the Craft Robo and the stickers were from various sheets of labels.

Scrapology May Card Challenge
Alison from the Scrapology design team has set this months card challenge. Alison challenges the design team and readers of the blog to create a card using craft supplies that have been sitting around for a long time.
For my card I dug deep and found some SEI Granny's Kitchen papers from 2005!
Eight year they have been sitting doing nothing! I didn't have the full collection, just a few sheets and I was somewhat surprised that I still had them because the colours used in the papers are one of my favourite colour combinations - my bedroom is decorated in these colours! I cut a honeycomb square from brown Bazzill cardstock on the Craft Robo using a cutting file from the Silhouette Studio and put the papers behind, I finished off the card with a Making Memories Defined sticker (These are soooooo old!!!!) and a piece of chocolate brown ribbon.
Pop on over the Scrapology to have a look at all the cards created by the design team and the gorgeous prize Alison has put together for the challenge winner. You've got to be in it to win it!

More My MInds Eye
Today's layout is a scraplift of a layout by Guiseppa Gubler which I found on the Simple Stories blog.
The background paper is from My Minds Eye and the heart background, title, flowers and leaves were all cut from scraps of patterned paper using cutting files from the Silhouette Studio. The journalling card was from Simple Stories and the words strips were from various manufacturers (Jillibeans Soup, etc). A couple of buttons finished off the layout..

My Minds Eye
Last weekend I scraplifted a stunning layout made by US Scrapbooker Malika Kelly for Bella Blvd and Epiphany Crafts.
Malika used a cutting file from the Silhouette Studio and as I had that cutting file I was drawn to her layout.
To match the colours in my photo of Lara I used papers from a 6" x 6" My Minds Eye's 'On The Sunny Side' collection paper pad but the layout would have worked equally well with paper scraps. Cutting and backing all those circles was quite therapeutic.
I also added some acrylic dome stickers which I backed with more patterned paper and also some brads. The layout was finished off with a title using Basicgrey stickers.
Anyone wanting to create a layout similar to this can get the cutting file from the Silhouette Studio or Jillibean Soup produce a similar die cut sheet called a 12x12 placemat diecut
(Ooops Just realised the date is missing from this photo of the layout. It has now been added to the layout.)

Christmas Cards
This year I made a few handmade Christmas cards for my crafty friends.
The first batch I made were made using the 'Tiny Trees' digital stamp set from pinkpetticoat.co.uk .

I printed the image onto some patterned paper which I mounted on a rectangular card blank and then embelished with self adhesive gems and machine stitched round the edge.
Next, I made a batch using my Craft Robo.

I cut the Christmas Blocks from bright Christmas coloured cardstock and then mounted on a square card bank. Then I made a pastel set using pastel pink and blue patterned paper and cardstock.

Finally I made a set again with the Craft Robo using some Scenic Route ledger paper and cardstoock. The bauble was embelished with a self adhesive gem and some bakers twine.
The cards have now been posted to all corners of the country with Seasons Greetings and Best Wishes to my crafty buddies.
