Last month however, after much searching, I managed to buy from Ebay (at a fairly good price) a bag of fleece fabric offcuts and some plastic beans. So, this afternoon we decided to have a go at making a beanie toy from the book. The only proviso was that it had to be simple!
Lara choose an alien which we made from some bright red fleece. I did the sewing on the machine and Lara turned the toy the right way out and filled it.

That should have been the end of our craft time today but somehow I was persuaded to also make an octopus! So as well as the red alien we also made a blue Octopus.

And.............. because Lara knows how to wrap me round her finger..... we also made a rather cute pink cat.

These are fab Karen and Lara, so cute! Karen, I hope you are going to do a layout for each of your crafty days? I can see a whole album dedicated to them ;) .xxx
Karen - all these children's projects are so fantastic - and what superb execution. Lara must be in heaven during the hols - but it seems as if you are in countdown mode!
